This is one of the classic climbs in the Cordillera Blanca. The climb to the summit with spectacular surrounding views makes this a highly recommended route. From the 5300m ridge, you can observe all of the lights of the Callejon de Huaylas. |

Day 1: Huaraz - Cashapampa 2990m. - Llamacorral 3850m
(Six hours).
Day 2: Llamacorral - Base Camp 4200m
(Seven hours).
Day 3: Base Camp - High Camp 5300m
(Eight hours).
Day 4: High Camp - Summit 5947m - High Camp
(Nine hours).
Day 5: High Camp - Base Camp
(Five hours).
Day 6: Base Camp - Llamacorral
(Six hours).
Day 7: Llamacorral - Cashapampa - Huaraz
